About Melissa Skinner

Melissa loves bringing hope and encouragement through God’s Word. With refreshing authenticity, she writes from a heart that has experienced pain and loss, as well as healing and restoration, and she encourages others to trust in God, no matter what.

She is the wife of a high school teacher and coach and the mom of teenage boys. She works as the Director of Children's Ministry at Church of the Resurrection in New Orleans. 

Melissa holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and undergraduate degrees in Biblical Studies and Elementary Education.
